Strengthen Local Churches in Malawi
Your partnership helps train local pastors in sound theology, practical agriculture, and entrepreneurial skills—while providing the ongoing mentorship and accountability they need to lead healthy churches and build sustainable ministries in their communities.
Rather than creating long-term dependence on outside support, Jars of Clay Foundation – Malawi works alongside local church leaders to develop the knowledge, skills, and resources that can strengthen both their ministries and the communities they serve.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
Your gifts help:
- Train pastors in sound theology and biblical leadership so they can faithfully preach the Gospel, disciple believers, and shepherd the churches entrusted to them.
- Equip church plants with practical agricultural and entrepreneurial skills that strengthen families, create greater financial stability, and support sustainable local ministry.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and accountability as pastors and congregations put their training into practice.
- Supply biblical literature and ministry resources and aid translation efforts that strengthen local teaching, discipleship, and pastoral care.
- Strengthen local churches and communities with practical tools and opportunities that help them make wise use of the resources God has provided.
- Support the work of the Gospel in Malawi, trusting God to provide, sustain His Church, and bring lasting transformation through His Word.
Current Focus: Year-Round Farming Near Dzuwa ARPC Church
One of our current projects is helping develop farmland near Dzuwa ARPC Church in central Malawi.
At present, the farm depends on seasonal rainfall and is generally limited to one wet-season harvest. The next step is to install a solar-powered irrigation system using water from the nearby river. The project will include a solar pump, a holding and settling tank, and drip irrigation to make dry-season planting possible.
The estimated one-time cost is approximately $5,000.
This investment is about more than purchasing equipment. It can help create the conditions for more consistent food production, practical agricultural experience, and potential income—skills and resources that local leaders can continue building on long after the initial project is completed.
Help Make This Work Possible
Our current goal is $5,000 to fund the solar irrigation project near Dzuwa ARPC Church.
In a world filled with constant headlines, uncertainty, and competing demands for our attention, it can be easy to lose sight of the work God is quietly accomplishing through His Church. Yet we are still called to invest in the building of His Kingdom—to strengthen believers, equip local churches, and help communities grow in lasting ways. We invite you not to let the distractions of the moment keep you from seeing and supporting the eternal work taking place in Malawi.
